Drop a folder in, or choose one. Every PDF inside it gets stripped.
Bulk Metadata Remover
Remove metadata from every PDF in a folder at once — title, author, subject, keywords, creator, producer, timestamps and the embedded XMP packet. Sub-folders are included, the structure is preserved, and the files never leave your browser.

Good to know
- Drop a folder or choose one; sub-folders are walked and anything that is not a PDF is ignored.
- Each file is listed with what it was carrying as it is cleared, so you have a record of what went.
- A file that cannot be read — usually password-protected — is reported and skipped, not allowed to stop the batch.
Your files stay on your machine
This tool runs entirely inside your browser tab. Nothing is uploaded, stored, or sent to a server — close the tab and every trace is gone.
These are the free ones — see the full suiteHow big a file can it take?
There is no upload, so there is no upload limit — but the work happens in this tab, which means your browser’s memory is the budget. Nothing here will refuse a file for being large; a big enough one simply gets slow and, eventually, reloads the tab. The figures below are rules of thumb on a desktop browser, not enforced caps. On a phone or tablet, expect a good deal less.
- Files are processed one at a time and only the current one is parsed, so the folder can be long — hundreds of files is fine.
- Every cleaned file is held in memory until you download the ZIP, so it is the combined size that binds: comfortable to roughly 300 MB across the folder. Save individually for very large productions.
Password-protected PDFs are declined whatever their size — unlock the file first. If a run does die on a long document, splitting it into volumes and working through them one at a time is the reliable way round it.
